Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg Trying To Get Civil Suit Subpoena Quashed

Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg was able to get a scheduled April 23 deposition in a civil suit against seven technology companies delayed until May 21 or 23, and now she is trying to get it quashed altogether.

Prior to joining Facebook, Sandberg served as Google’s vice president of global sales and operations. Google, Intuit, Apple, Intel, Adobe, Pixar, and Lucasfilm are the subject of a civil suit. The companies are accused of allegedly keeping wages lower by agreeing not to poach employees from each other

Bloomberg reported that a March 29 joint status report signed by lawyers for the plaintiffs and defendants said of Sandberg:
