Sharp Abandons PCs For Tablets

Sharp is getting out of the PC business to focus on tablets.

The Inquirer UK has more: “The Japanese firm will shift its focus away from PCs in favour of tablets, including its Galapagos model, which should come as no surprise to anyone that has read any of the analysts reports suggesting that such handhelds are on the verge of world domination…From now, like so many other firms, the company will look to build an eco-system around tablets, and will apparently provide content including e-books, music, video and other such malarky.”
