The Facebook family is producing another author, as Randi Zuckerberg, former marketing director at the social network and sister of founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, inked a two-book pact with HarperCollins.
According to AP, Randi Zuckerberg plans to pen a memoir/lifestyle book titled Dot Complicated, as well as a children’s story.
Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead, written by Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg, is scheduled for release March 11.
AP reported that Dot Complicated is scheduled for a Nov. 5 release, and it shares a title with its author’s online newsletter. The book will include personal and professional insights, including Randi Zuckerberg’s time at her brother’s company, and her journey into motherhood. She said in a statement:
I am thrilled to be working with HarperCollins to share some of my own crazy experiences on the front lines of social media and to inspire people of all ages to embrace technology, as well as the new set of social norms that come along with it.
