Qik Teams with WeFi to Stream Video Using Free Stable WiFi Hotspots
Qik is a great free web service with platform specific apps that lets you easily stream and share video from a variety of mobile phone platforms including Android, iPhone, Nokia, and Windows Mobile. I plan to use it at least a few times while wandering around Bellevue and Redmond next week.
There is a problem when sharing video from a smartphone though: Video produces a lot of data that can tax even a 3G connection. And, I’ve found the process is a reall battery killer.
