So your company is based in San Francisco, but you’ve got a big fan base in Berlin. Posting to your Facebook page at 3 p.m. from California means it’s midnight in Germany. Post Planner has recently launched a way to solve this, by allowing Facebook page admins to post to a determined time zone among fans’ locations. For instance, an admin can make sure that a post will be seen when their fans across the world will be ready to engage with it.
Through Post Planner, users can hyper-target their ads to post at different times in different countries. This way, page admins can not only post when their fans are most willing to engage, but do that for select countries.
Post Planner CEO Joshua Parkinson described the new service to AllFacebook:
The new feature offers exceptional time zone functionality. For example, if Starbucks wants to say “Good morning!” to its fans around the world during the actual morning hours of each fan, they can now do so in a few clicks. While fan pages can achieve the same functionality using Facebook’s native features, the process is extremely time-consuming. It can now be done in a fraction of the time with Post Planner — resulting in huge time savings.
Post Planner put together an in-depth guide to using this new feature.
