King.com’s Pet Rescue Saga continues its winning streak this week, taking the top spot on our list of fastest-growing games by monthly active user (the best gauge of a title’s overall reach on the network). Pet Rescue Saga showed the largest growth in the 10 million MAU tier, moving up six spots to the No. 19 position among Facebook apps with a 24 percent gain.
Zynga’s Words With Friends took the No. 25 spot, increasing two positions with a 7.41 percent growth. Geewa’s Pool Live Tour had a 3.33 percent gain, moving up 1 spot to No. 29. King.com’s Candy Crush Saga grew 25 percent, going up one spot to No. 3. Social Point’s Dragon City rounds out the top five games in this tier, moving up one placing to No. 17 with a 5.56 percent increase.
In the 5 million MAU tier, Pretty Simple’s crime-themed hidden object game Criminal Case moved up 21 spots to No. 67 with a 23.86 percent growth. Miniclip.com’s 8 Ball Pool saw a 12.5 percent gain and moved up 6 spots to the No. 42 position. Rovio’s Angry Birds Star Wars is continuing to grow, up 4.11 percent and jumping three spots to No. 70. Meanwhile, Manuel Otto’s Stick Run grew by 2.86 percent, letting it move up two spots to the No. 68 slot. Halfbrick’s Fruit Ninja Frenzy saw a 2.47 percent gain, moving up two spots to No. 79.
Finally, we turn to the 1 million MAU tier. Royal Story was up by 82.57 percent, moving up 1,222 positions to take No. 258. Playdom’s Disney City Girl is continuing to grow after its recent launch, growing 31.45 percent and moving up 156 spots to snag the No. 340 position. Broken Bulb Studios’ Bake Shop Drop saw a 20.33 percent increase, jumping 61 slots to No. 239. Playdemic’s Village Life moved up 29 spots to No. 269 with a 9.73 percent gain. FunPlus Game’s Family Farm moved up 29 spots to No. 153, a 15.93 percent growth.
