Facebook application provider North Social, which was acquired by Vocus in February 2011, released its new iFrame Editor app, which allows brand managers to build custom Facebook pages and promotions.
Page administrators can use uploaded images, iFrames, and custom HTML code, and iFrame Editor also supports fan gating, or allowing only Facebook users who have liked pages to access exclusive content.
North Social said iFrame Editor is available as part of its suite, along with 19 other Facebook apps, on a pay-as-you-go basis, starting at $0.99 per day. General Manager Chris Mottau added:
As Facebook promotions evolve and user habits shift, brands must seek out more than just likes. The way to drive engagement is to build custom brand experiences. The iFrame Editor app will empower page managers and developers with unmatched flexibility, as it allows creators to use images, iFrames, or custom HTML code to support their social promotion efforts.
