New App Maps James Joyce's Ireland
Just in time for summer travels, this weekend a group of Boston college students are releasing a city guide app to Dublin based on James Joyce’s Ulysses.
Dubbed JoyceWays, the app combines the teachings of Joyce scholar Professor Nugent with designs from Irish software developer Big Top Multimedia, to make a literary tour app that is part study guide, part tourist tool.
It took almost three years for the students to build the app, which started as a Kickstarter project.
