Neon Genesis Evangelion comes to Puzzle & Dragons on mobile

GungHo Online Entertainment has secured another crossover partnership for its mobile hit Puzzle & Dragons. The partnership sees the world of Neon Genesis Evangelion (and the film series “Rebuild of Evangelion”) added to the game, as players can complete a themed dungeon, interact with themed enemies, and collect rare new monsters for their teams.

During this campaign, players can complete the Evangelion Dungeon, which includes nine Angels. Outside of this dungeon, players can spend premium currency on the EVA-01 Rare Egg Machine, with each pull giving players a chance to receive Evangelion characters including “Shinji, Rei, Asuka, Mari and Kaworu (depicted alongside the EVA units they pilot) and Misato (with the AAA Wunder flying battleship).”

As players collect these limited edition monsters / characters, they’ll be able to evolve some to their “Ultimate” forms, as well as unlocking their “Awoken Skills.”
