NBC News Experimenting With 'Nightly News Now' Webcast
NBC News continues to experiment with new media, and its latest effort is a webcast for “NBC Nightly News.” Called “Nightly News Now,” the one to two minute long program recaps the day’s news in a format designed for mobile devices.
For the moment “Nightly News Now” is being tested out on the weekends, with Lester Holt anchoring. The plan is to monitor the response to the webcast, with the possibility of expanding it down the line.
