Intuit Launches GoPayment App for iPad -- It includes a variety of new features for its core credit card-processing service tailored for the iPad, including a larger touch-based interface, product photo uploading, and a streamlined interface. Nokia to Introduce Microsoft Windows Marketplace-Based App Store, Run Some Symbian Apps -- As part of the two companies' ongoing plans to offer a more compelling developer platform, they've agreed that Nokia will offer an app store that runs on Windows, but also can run current Symbian and Series 40 apps. No information is available on when this store will launch. Verizon Continues Seeing Strong iPhone Activations -- It added 2.2 million iPhone users within the 8 weeks that the device was available with the carrier this part quarter. Report: Online Ad Network ValueClick Buying Mobile Ad Network Greystripe -- Or so TechCrunch hears, with the price being a low $75 million. DCM's "A-Fund" Puts $100 Million Towards Android Developers -- In an obvious countermove to Kleiner Perkins' successful iFund, the venture firm is hoping to get in early on new startups as the Android ecosystem evolves. It's managing the money, anchor investors include Japanese mobile gaming company GREE, Japanese mobile operator KDDI, and Chinese internet conglomerate Tencent. A US-based semiconductor company (Intel, perhaps?) is also expected to be named as a partner in coming weeks, according to the release.
