Larry McMurtry's Books Released As eBooks
Simon & Schuster will release all of Larry McMurtry’s books in eBook format for the first time ever. This is especially significant coming from an author who for more than 30 years has written all of his books and screenplays on the same Hermes 3000 manual typewriter. He has resisted electronic publication and even thanked his typewriter when he won a Golden Globe for Brokeback Mountain in 2006.
McMurtry commented, “I hope the public will welcome my books to e-books, fresh fields and pastures new.”
