Digital delivery platform ironSource is touting the success of its Stickeez native ad format, which reportedly boosts ad revenue for app developers by 20 percent. Stickeez is the latest mobileCore ad format, and offers a small, non-aggressive, non-incentivized advertising unit, which can be integrated to match the look and feel of a developer’s app. The ads prompt users to action, displaying mobileCore offers, or showing them other apps they might be interested in downloading.
Since Stickeez’ launch in February 2014, participating developers have seen a 20 percent increase in revenue when utilizing the new ad format. So far, more than half of ironSource’s mobileCore users have adopted Stickeez.
“In today’s predominantly free app market, developers need to find creative ways to monetize their product, but they also have to protect their user’s in-app experience,” said Itay Riemer, General Manager of mobileCore at ironSource. “Stickeez offers developers a highly-effective means of generating revenue without compromising on user experience.”
Stickeez ads can be customized to better fit into existing applications, as developers can select stock images from the Stickeez gallery, or add their own in-app characters. While custom branded ads are currently limited to the promotion of a few apps, these customization capabilities will soon roll out to all developers on the platform.
“ironSource has always been committed to solving problems and providing solutions for software developers – whatever platform they are working on” said Tomer Bar Zeev, CEO and Co-Founder of ironSource. “Both Stickeez, and mobileCore in general, are designed to empower the developer to monetize more effectively so they can focus on the thing they do best – developing great products.”
