Introducing GPlusData: Tracking 80 Million Google+ Users and More Than 1 Million Pages

By Devon Glenn

With 400 million users around the world, Google+ is becoming more than just a social layer for Google’s many productivity tools, like Gmail and Search; it’s also a place to discover trends.  From the company that brought you AppData for Facebook apps and PageData for Facebook pages, GPlusData lets you track the most influential people and brands on Google+.

When you log in with your Google+ profile on the GPlusData website, you can get stats on your own profile, like most popular posts, best time of day to post, and follower counts.  There’s also PlusKred, an embeddable scoring widget that shows how influential you are within the Google+ community. With a visually pleasing layout, GPlusData gives you a better representation of your Google+ profile than Google gives you, if we do say so ourselves.

You’ll also find lists of the top people and pages, from the fastest growing, to the most engaging, to the most followed each day, week, or month. GPlusData tracks 80 million Google+ users and more than 1 million pages.

You can filter the information by age group, gender, relationship status, language, city, state, country, occupation, education, and employer to get a better idea of what your audience is interested in.

A search bar at the top of the homepage makes it easy to find influential users with any keyword, such as “media.”

There are also different ways to visualize the information, like growth indexes and a world map showing where the highest concentrations of users are.

GPlusData is part of Inside Network, a division of SocialTimes’ parent company, WebMediaBrands (NASDAQ: WEBM). Click here to check out the free service. You’ll find also a link to the site on our homepage at
