iBooks Is the Top Free iPad App
According to the App Store ratings, the iBooks app is the most popular free iPad app in the Apple App store. Impressively, the application has topped the Google Earth app (#2) and Netflix app (#9).
As of this 4:00 pm EST writing, the iBooks app is way ahead of its iPad competitors as well. Amazon Kindle for the iPad is ranked #11 among free apps, and the Borders eBooks app is ranked #14. Barnes and Noble for the iPad comes in at #29.
