Yahoo! divided up the year into several categories of interest: inspiring acts, natural disasters, financial uprisings, good sports and survivor stories. These are the clusters of events and stories that will prove to define 2010.
Taking a close look, we see some familiar events: the Chilean miner rescue within the survivor stories; unemployment concerns in the financial uprisings cluster; the Haiti earthquake in natural disasters; the World Cup as part of our good sports obsession.
