Halfbrick reveals Bears vs. Art for iOS

Jetpack Joyride developer Halfbrick has announced the upcoming launch of its newest mobile title, Bears vs. Art. The game stars Rory the bear, who becomes annoyed with the many art galleries popping up in his once peaceful forest. Players will help Rory clear the art from the forest, in an experience that’s Halfbrick’s first true puzzle game.

The game is set to feature 125 levels at launch, as players must find the quickest and/or easiest route around the art galleries to destroy all of the paintings. In each level, players tap on directional buttons to send Rory heading in that direction, being careful not to hit one of the museum’s many obstacles.

Rory can roll or smash into anything he sees, but art may be protected by modern security measures. These include laser beams, spike traps and portals. Museum guests are also a factor, including museum patrons, security guards and art thieves.

Bears vs. Art is now available on iOS in Australia and Canada, and will launch worldwide in the coming weeks. Check back soon for more, and to follow the game on AppData, our tracking platform for mobile and social apps and developers.
