Google’s Glass, the ultimate geek interface, is now available for a select few users. The company will select users who post to Google+ or Twitter using the hashtag #ifIHadGlass, and invite them to buy the glasses for $1500.
The company has asked users to use the hashtag along with a post describing what they would do with the futuristic product. Many promised to take still more photographs of their kids, but some took the opportunity to poke fun at Google:
#ifihadglass I’d be too embarrassed to ever leave my apartment.

#IfIHadGlass I’d look like elves had given up building a monorail to connect my ears.

#ifihadglass I’d share everything I was always too lazy to share with my iPhone

#ifihadglass I’d write long meaningless blog posts about how it felt so good to take a weekend away from glass and how I might give up glass

#ifihadglass I’d use it to remind you that you had to run your contest on Twitter
