The new feature will help brands in two ways, as reported by Inside Facebook: Brands that use geo-targeted on their original posts can refine their target locations to reach larger audiences or more narrow audiences that are more likely to engage with their posts, while brands that did not initially use geo-targeting can take advantage of its benefits.
