Here Comes the Firefox Tablet
Mozilla recently released the outline of what its Firefox OS tablets will look like. Expect the first device to be a 10-inch InFocus New tab F1 tablet with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The tablet will run on a 1GHz quad-core processor with a 1280 x 800 display.
Additional specs include Wi-Fi, dual cameras (2-megapixel and 5-megapixel), 7000 mAh battery, GPS and Bluetooth enabled, and USB, headphone and SD ports.
Mozilla, the nonprofit developer of the Firefox web browser is working with Foxconn to build Firefox tablets, but true to its open-source ethos, it is asking for help from the developer community to accelerate the process.
