Did you know that the Financial Times newspaper has a global social community of 3.9 million people, with the overwhelming majority (2.2 million) to be found on Twitter?

Indeed, 91 percent of FT readers are socially savvy, and 52 percent use Twitter as part of their job. Overall, social media is growing faster than every other traffic source to FT.com, and the volume of visits to FT.com from social media sites is at its highest level ever.

This, and other key data, can be seen in this official infographic release from the Financial Times, which takes a closer look at how global social channels drive FT consumption.
