Facebook revenue hits $2B in Q3, now has 507M mobile DAUs

Facebook’s Q3 was its most successful quarter to date, according to documents posted Wednesday. The social network took in $2.016 billion dollars in the most recent quarter and mobile advertising revenue accounted for 49 percent of all accounting intake.

Facebook now has 1.19 billion monthly active users (MAUs), 728 million daily active users (DAUs), 874 million mobile MAUs and 507 million mobile DAUs.

CEO and Co-Founder Mark Zuckerberg issued a statement about Facebook’s latest financial reports:

For nearly ten years, Facebook has been on a mission to connect the world. The strong results we achieved this quarter show that we’re prepared for the next phase of our company, as we work to bring the next five billion people online and into the knowledge economy.
