eBookNewser Friday Reader Poll Results

On Friday, eBookNewser asked readers to weigh in on the issue of eBook sequencing–whether eBooks should be released at the same time or after the hardcover book–following last week’s announcements that Simon & Schuster, Hachette, and HarperCollins would all delay eBooks by several months after hardcover publication. Two readers responded (let’s try to pump up the responses on this week’s poll, gang), both of them resoundingly against the idea of delaying eBook release until after the hardcover publication.

One reader who posted as “anonymousie” points out that publishers are making more money on every eBook he/she buys: “Right now, they’re making significantly more money off me than they were before I bought my Kindle, and one big reason is that I am willing to pay $9.99
