Dolphins' Bess a Victim of Twitter Fraud

Add one more name to the list of professional athletes who have been victimized by impostors using social-networking tools: Miami Dolphins wide receiver Davone Bess.

According to NFL FanHouse, someone using the name Lambo_Weezy on Twitter sent several Tweets while impersonating Bess, including one challenging Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson to a race.

Twitter deleted the profile after being contacted by the National Football League, but Kenny Zuckerman, Bess’ agent, told NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora he plans to “prosecute this imposter to the fullest extent of the law.
