The DigiTour Returns: YouTube’s Biggest Musicians Back On Tour In Spring 2012

By Megan O'Neill

In Spring 2011, a group popular YouTube music megastars got together to tour the US, performing live for fans from across the country that had previously only seen them on computer screens.  They called it the DigiTour and it was a huge success.  So much of a success, in fact, that they’re doing it again.  In Spring 2012 the second annual DigiTour kicks off, complete with a group of headlining YouTube artists including Dave Days, Ricky Ficarelli, DeStorm, Alex Goot, Asher Monroe, Nice Peter and The Key of Awesome.

VIP ticket packages for this Spring’s DigiTour will go on sale on December 19, 2011, just in time for the holidays.  They will be sold exclusively on and

The DigiTour founders and producers, Meridith Valiando, Chris Rojas and Sarah Penna, who we had the chance to interview earlier this year, say, “We have become the launching pad for self-made YouTube stars to take their shows on the road—we’ve created an institution to celebrate these web superstars annually and give their fanatic subscribers an opportunity to see their favorite YouTube stars live.”

Diana Jenkins, CEO and Founder of Neuro, sponsor of the 2012 tour, says, “Neuro represents the lifestyle of innovation, creativity and social consciousness of the youth culture that celebrates online artists.  We are proud to support the emerging talent on the DigiTour to promote the rise of a new generation of pop culture phenomenons.”
