Having been in the game industry for longer than I can remember, I can tell you that these are the ‘good days’ for independent developers. Sure, it’s not like the Facebook gold rush of a few years ago, but with an increasing number of popular devices and platforms popping up every day, one person in their basement truly has a lot of opportunities to get their game into the world.
That said, Maplestory developer Nexon is offering $1 million to independent game developers as part of their new iNitiative project.
