Just when it appeared that the class-action lawsuit against Facebook over the use of users’ images in sponsored stories had been settled, Batman showed up — Jo Batman, that is, of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Batman (the Corpus Christi one, not the Gotham one) filed a notice of appeal with the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals last week, according to Online Media Daily.

In a letter Batman sent to U.S. District Court Judge Richard Seeborg in May, Online Media Daily reported, he argued that Facebook’s revisions to sponsored stories were not enough to remedy potential problems, and he took issue with the social network’s move to require users under 18 to state that a parent had agreed to its terms of service.

According to Online Media Daily, it was not yet clear what Batman said in last week’s filing.
