58% Of B2B Marketers Increasing Social Media Spend In 2014 [STUDY]

More than half of business to business marketers plan to increase their social media spend in 2014, reports eMarketer, citing data from Advertising Age.

58.2 percent of B2B marketers are increasing their budget for social media this year, which is slightly more than 2013, when 56 percent raised their spend.

Social media rated third overall amongst B2B brand digital marketing budgetary increases for 2014, behind website development (66.1 percent, but down year-on-year) and email marketing (64.5 percent).
