Apple Selling HD Movies for $19.99 in iTunes Includes iPhone Compatible Version
Apple’s iTunes HD (High Definition) movie catalog isn’t very large at the moment. In fact, if I counted correctly, there are a grand total of 13 (maybe 14) HD movies. I say maybe because one movie, The Lucky Ones, is listed in the iTunes HD catalog but does not list itself as an HD movie. The 13 movies that clearly label themselves as HD cost $19.99 vs. the $14.99 purchase price for their standard definition counterparts.
At this point you might be wondering what this has to do with mobile technology since HD movies can’t be played back on current generation mobile devices like smartphones.
