Apple Begins Charging Credit Cards for iPad Pre-Orders
Yesterday Apple started placing preauthorization credit holds on the credit cards of iPad pre-orderers–meaning Apple’s provisionally charged credit cards to verify there’s enough credit. We verified this ourselves, and MacRumors reports the same thing among its readers.
Has Apple charged your card? Are you getting excited? A week from today, we’ll all either be lining up at our local Apple store or bestbuy, or picking up provisions so we can wait by the doorbell for Saturday’s delivery.
