And Maybe Amazon Isn't Losing $2 Per eBook

eBookNewser isn’t afraid of controversy, nor of contradicting itself when necessary. There was much talk and Twittering about yesterday’s post on Amazon’s possible $2 loss per eBook sold. Munsey’s Technosnarl has taken it upon itself to explain why Maher and Blodget analysis on which yesterday’s post was based is mostly wrong.

Munsey’s points out a few key factors, including Amazon’s Digital Text Platform, its online tool to allow anyone to create Kindle content and through which there is no discounting, meaning Amazon gets a hefty cut off the top of all sales.
