Amazon Android Appstore Developer Program Launched: $99 Fee Waived for First Year

Apple’s iTunes iPhone & iPad App Store is not perfect. But, for the most part, it is easy to use and gets the job done whether on the desktop, iPhone, or iPad. Google’s Android Market for Android apps, on the other hand,is marginally better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. That said, it improved slightly when it was upgraded recently. So, I was thrilled to learn that Amazon launched its Amazon Appstore Developer Program for Android app developers.
