The 2014 iPhone Photography Awards, or the iPPA, received submissions from over 70 countries this year. If you can’t travel to all of those countries, you can bet the photos will provide the imperative to travel, if only digitally.

For those who love photography, the awards are a feast for the eyes with categories ranging from food to animals. They are all spectacular.

Most users won’t need much more to inspire iPhone snaps, but maybe these photos might help us all aspire to photographic greatness. Without further ado, we present you some of the winners. To see more from all 16 categories: animals, architecture,  children, flowers, food, landscape, lifestyle, nature, news/events, people, seasons, still life, sunset, travel, trees and more – visit IPPAwards.com.
