Toyota Focuses on Safety With YouTube Bloopers

Can it distract viewers from recent negative headlines?

The news for Toyota has not been particularly positive recently, as the company was forced to defend its now-former PR chief Julie Hamp after her arrest in Japan. She has been released from custody without charge…and today the company promoted an unusual new campaign to focus on the safety of its smaller cars.

The video, released to promote the Vitz brand, falls under the hashtag #Humanness. From the press release:

“The video is comprised of content illustrating human behavior that anyone can experience in daily life regardless of age, gender, or nationality.”
