Weber Shandwick’s Detroit office has been selected by the Michigan Strategic Fund and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to build the Pure Michigan brand. In 2006, the Pure Michigan campaign was launched, and in March, the state’s Governor Rick Snyder signed legislation backing the campaign with $25 million. Work will include media strategy and outreach, digital work, content creation, and SEO.

Sophos, an information security company, has chosen tech PR firm Affect for work promoting the company’s Naked Security blog.
