Reading is Fundamental, the group famous for making books and reading accessible to underserved children ages eight and younger, has chosen Weber Shandwick as AOR after a competitive review. The firm will focus on a comprehensive PR program to raise awareness of RIF’s work and a rebranding of the organization as it celebrates its 45th anniversary.

Alcantara, an Italian producer of interiors for high-end vehicles like Ferraris and Lamborghinis, has chosen Detroit-based AutoCom Associates as its North American AOR. The firm will work to raise awareness of Alcantara in this region. [via]

Vitals, a site for patients seeking info about doctors, has chosen MWW Group for a branding campaign. The firm’s consumer lifestyle and Dialogue Digital teams, based in New York, will work on the account.

Ogilvy PR has been chosen as North American AOR for Aspect, a provider of real-time customer service communications, technologies, and outsourcing. Ogilvy’s Chicago team is working on a thought leadership program. Work began in January.

Nonprofit organization the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness has chosen Trevelino/Kelleras AOR. The firm will help the organization roll out a national education initiative focused on the preparation of gluten-free foods. [via]
