The Holmes Report writes that Cargill is looking for a PR firm to help with CSR and issues work focused on food security. Twenty-two percent of U.S. grain exports as well as meat, poultry, and eggs come from Cargill. This is the first time the company has sought a firm for this work.

Online shopping site Nextag has chosen MWW Group as AOR. Work will focus on reputation, branding, executive outreach, and social media programs that raise awareness of the company. MWW’s consumer lifestyle marketing, Dialogue Digital, and corporate communications teams will handle the work.

The Chilean Blueberry Committee has chosen The MacKenzie Agency for North American PR activity. The agency will target food media with a message about the year-round availability of safe blueberries from Chile.

PRWeek says The Patron Spirits Company is looking for a firm to handle the “Find Balance, Find Ultimat” campaign for Ultimat Vodka. According to a company spokesperson, “a couple” of firms are in the running.

I AM PR has added five clients to its roster: Grammy-nominated singer Cathy Richardson, punk rock band Midnight Mob, rapper and producer Roro, blogger/producer/director Rani Gaddy, and DJ Sugur Shane.

Mobile video game and app company DNA Dynamics has hired Elite Financial Communications Group for IR and PR work. The firm will work on a corporate and shareholder strategy and execute the plan, with the account led by Elite’s president and CEO Dodi Handy.
