Sarah Evans, less known for her day job as director of communications at Elgin Community College than for her ubiquitous presence on social networks, recently launched Sevans Strategy with three clients.
Evans worked at Advocate Health Care, and at the Chicago-based firm Arment Dietrich before taking the job at Elgin CC.
Here social resume carries a much bigger Google footprint, as founder and moderator of the Monday night #journchat Twitter discussion about journalism and PR, founder of the MediaOnTwitter database, and author of the PRSarahEvans blog, and co-author of the Commentz email newsletter. She has over 29,000 followers on Twitter too.
Evans aims to bring her social media experience to the non-profit sector. So far she counts the Hebrew Immigration Aid Society (HIAS) and the Munson Group as clients.
