Just days after the world watched their rescue from the mine that kept them trapped for more than two months, The Huffington Post reports that the Chilean miners already have a plan in place for interacting with the media and splitting the proceeds from their fame. Take notes!
So far, none of the miners have spoken publicly, and the family has been told to keep quiet until given permission to speak as well. The miners have made a pact to split earnings from interviews, appearance, books, and movies. And they’ve already hired an accountant.
“Los 33” have gotten offers for visits, jobs, and more from around the world. Sounds like these men, who used strategy to survive underground, will use it to manage their fame above it as well.
