Is BP Telling Their Agencies Not To Speak With Media?

PRNewser has been hearing about a “clampdown” BP has put on all of their agencies, asking them specifically not to speak with the media.

It’s not surprising that when any company is undergoing a crisis, let alone one of BP’s proportions, the marketing, PR and advertising agencies involved in counseling the company remain silent when it comes to speaking with the media.

Ogilvy PR, which was recently brought on to handle social media communications for BP, has not commented to PRWeek or PRNewser.
