CafeMom Launches Site Targeting Hispanic Mothers
CafeMom, the social networking site for mothers, is launching a site specifically aimed at Hispanic mothers. The still unnamed network will be run by former People en Español publisher Lucia Ballas-Traynor.
According to the press release announcing the endeavor, CafeMom research shows that 92 percent of Hispanic moms don’t feel there’s a website that caters to them. And 79 percent of moms who responded (the release says that both English-and Spanish-speaking moms were surveyed by a “third-party vendor” but no other specifics are given) said they would like to network more with other Hispanic moms.
