CBS News' Couric to Host Post Inauguration Webcast

CBS News anchor Katie Couric will host an original news Webcast immediately following the network’s coverage of presidential inauguration on Jan. 20.

At 10:00 p.m. EST, just after CBS concludes its primet-ime coverage of the day’s historic events, Couric will go live on CBSNews.com for roughly 30 to 45 minutes, featuring additional interviews with political pundits as well as commentary from CBS’ political team.

Couric, who is also CBS News managing editor, anchored similar Webcasts throughout the presidential election season, including just after the network’s coverage of each debate and following each night’s broadcasts of both the Republican and Democratic conventions.
