Well, Yahoo's Motion Ads, announced this morning as another option for marketers, seem to have been created in such a meme spirit. Now, brands can advertise with a little more rich media on the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company's homepage, category pages and login page.
Kraft is pushing its Singles cheese products as the launch partner today, paying an undisclosed cost-per-thousand rate. No other brands have been disclosed.
Though for today, if all goes according to plan for Kraft, the ads may have more Gen Y consumers thinking about grilled cheese than usual.
