Gaffe underscored Friday's small crowd

The peaceful transfer of power is now complete, and Donald J. Trump is the 45th president of the United States. But the White House transition on social media remains a work in progress, as Trump's team takes on various new Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other accounts.

Most notably, though, was the usage of a Getty Images photo from Barack Obama's 2009 inauguration as the backdrop for Trump's new @POTUS Twitter handle. Noah Harlan, president of AllSeen Alliance, first noted the "oops" moment from Trump's social staffers.
