PGA.com Rides Woods' Loss to Records

A thrilling and stunning loss by Tiger Woods over the weekend contributed to record-setting traffic numbers for PGA.com.

The Turner Sports-managed site enjoyed its best four-day traffic period in its history with its coverage of the 2009 PGA Championship, including a single-day record 1.7 million unique users on Friday (Aug. 14), an increase of 66 percent compared to the same day last year.

During the tournament, the legendary Woods led for the majority of the competition before being bested by South Korean golfer Y.E.
