Facebook, Skype Pact Links Up Friends
Skype, the popular Web-based video conferencing platform, has announced an option that allows users to connect with Facebook friends via the service.
As part of the new partnership between the two companies, Skype users (at least those who have downloaded version 5.0 of the product) can log in with their Facebook identity. Once logged in, they can call friends using Skype, while also accessing various Facebook features, such as the site’s news feed and status box.
