Redbook Names Jill Herzig Editor

Jill Herzig was named editor of Hearst’s Redbook magazine. Hearst poached Herzig from rival publisher Condé Nast, where she has been the longtime executive editor at Glamour under editor in chief Cindi Leive.

The move confirms speculation that Hearst was looking for an editor from the outside to replace Stacy Morrison.

Morrison told staff she was leaving to deal with family illnesses, although there’s been rampant industry speculation that Hearst has been looking for a successor to Morrison for months.
