Meredith Aims for Reach With 'Women's Network'

Meredith Corp. has become the latest publishing company to start selling its Web sites as a network, hoping to attract advertisers looking for greater reach than the publishing company’s sites offer individually.

Meredith said that its Meredith Women’s Network would reach 15 million unique visitors per month, citing Omniture figures, and would comprise the Web extensions of its major magazines like Better Homes and Gardens, Parents and Fitness. It also will include its new social network Mixing Bowl and the online communities of Real Girls Media Network, which Meredith invested in last November.
