Exec Shakeup at Time Inc.

Longtime Time Inc. consumer marketing exec Brian Wolfe is out as part of an executive shuffle there.
 
Wolfe spent 25 years at the company, rising to evp, Time Inc. consumer marketing & sales. In an announcement, Time Inc. chairman Ann Moore didn’t give a reason for Wolfe’s departure, but praised him for his work centralizing the company’s subscription business and paving the way for an online subscription business, among other efforts.
 
His oversight included Maghound, a two-year-old online subscription service that was widely described as a Netflix for magazines but which never took off.
