Cyndi Stivers Becomes Latest High-Level Digital Departure From Time Inc.

Add another name to the list of high-level people who’ve left Time Inc.’s digital operations recently.
 
Cyndi Stivers, who joined Time Inc. in 2008 as the managing editor of Entertainment Weekly’s Web site, has left the company, where she’d been working most recently in a digital development position in the Style and Entertainment Group. Stivers made her mark as the founding president and editor of Time Out New York before going on to Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, where she launched its Sirius radio program.
 
Stivers is the fifth digital executive to leave Time Inc. over the past year. The most notable departure was chief digital officer Randall Rothenberg, who left in February following the firing of his old boss, CEO Jack Griffin. Digital president Kirk McDonald had left earlier in Griffin’s five-month tenure. Ken Fuchs, vice president of digital distribution and emerging platforms, defected for Yahoo in March. And last summer, consumer marketing expert Monica Ray decamped for Condé Nast.
 
Stivers continues to have a consulting role with Time Inc.
